HEREAFTER
2015 production, performed at the Festival D'Aurillac, Château Ephémère, Tenri and Le Centquatre in Paris.
A stone I died and rose again a plant;
A plant I died and rose an animal;
I died an animal and was born a man.
Why should I fear? What have I lost by death? Rumi
“Hereafter” is the story of a group of individuals waking up from the oblivion of a dream into reality of here & now. The still image resembling a painting of Delacroix, is transforming as the bodies thrown into the unknown awaken the forgotten memories & undergo various metamorphoses. They strip away socially & culturally imposed artificial identities to find what lies beyond.
The human condition is the main subject matter investigating the wide pallet of emotions & issues. The focus lies on the individual versus collective & mutual interdependency. The cornerstone is the presence & authentic body movement beyond conditioned patterns & interference of the mind. The members of the team come from the diverse disciplines however united by Butoh practice.

BLIND BALLET
2015 production, performed during "La Vie De Château#1" at the Château Ephémère (Paris) .
It is a live performance “Blind Ballet” performed during “La vie de Château” event for the official release of the solo album by Phil Von
with the same title at the Château Éphémère in April 2015.
The main concept of this piece is the embodiment through gesture and movement the loss of one of
the senses – vision -.a sensation of “becoming blind.”
“Blind Ballet” was more like an intervention or happening rather than a staged performance with
the strong element of surprise. The dancers wearing casual clothes were seated among the audience during the live performance of Phil Von and during one of his pieces they started “loosing the sight”. They made their way “being blind” to the center of the space and formed the group and then they walked dancing outside the space through the door and disappearing from the sight of the audience.

PAST PRODUCTIONS
GINA&GEORGE
2013-2016 a series of perfromances to be performed is situ as an intervention or as a staged piece.
As an intervention this piece was performed with Valentin Tszin at the Supper Club in Amsterdam in 2013, also with Thibaut Cora during the Festival D'Aurillac in 2014 , and with Arbi Cherif and at the Château Ephémère in 2015.
Career obsessed overstressed overbooked, underpaid and underloved Gina meets cofused, aimlessly drifting George...
Attraction, obsession, frustration and reconcilliation... in a butoh aesthetic.
At the edge of theatre/dance and perfromance art, a carefully scripted series of performances to be executed in situ by duet Sakurako & partner. What seems to be areal life situation gradually transforms in an obviously staged act whchi becomes increasingly stranger with a dosage of surealism and grotesque.
SENSELESS
2016 creation, 30 min performance during "La Vie De Château#3, Château Ephémère, Paris
“Senseless” is the story of a group of individuals one by one appearing in the space without a trace of memory who they are and why they are now here. They explore the space and their limitations as each of them has lost one of their senses. They go through various transformations remembering what had happen to them in the distant future. Finally one by one they remember their humanity by accessing the last emotions they have experienced before the oblivion. They relive the emotions of the past awakening the forgotten memories in an attempt to regain their lost humanity and collective identity.
